Ryan is ambitious, goal oriented, and fully committed to doing whatever it takes to make CIA Industrial the best company it can be. He’ll never forget dad Jerome getting him up and on the road by 6 a.m. for his first full day on the job, instilling the value of honest, reliable hard work that the business was built upon. Before he knew industrial auctioneering was his calling, he went to college to explore his options, attending Ohio University where he played football and graduated with his BBA.
He was always told that if he wanted to understand the business, he had to start on the road, and quickly learned the importance of the grind—walking the floors, interviewing clients, seeing the machinery and equipment with your own eyes to determine its true value. This deep understanding and respect for their work and process furthered his personal drive to grow the company, and he soon decided to take the next step with a focus on business development. Over the next few years, he added to his list of accolades, earning his MBA, his auction license from the Reppert School of Auctioneering, and also became a certified appraiser under AMEA. And ever since, he’s been enjoying the business and finding ways to make it better every day.
Ryan primarily focuses on business development, prospecting new clients and handling the front end of projects. This company is something his family built that cannot be replicated, and he’s honored to be a part of its continued growth and success. He is always looking for the next project and is fully committed to carrying on the legacy those before him built. When he and his wife aren’t playing zone defense with their twins, you’ll most likely find him either in the gym, on a boat or walking his golden retriever, Grover.
